The first was a bomb attached to a motorcycle that exploded around noon in front of a grocery store where two military trucks were parked outside, and a female suicide bomber blew herself up about an hour later. The latest attack is the biggest of its kind in the southern Philippines since the deadly January 2019 bombing of a cathedral on Jolo.
